If possible, make a list for the whole week. If you are in charge of several projects, it is better to map out every project and make a list of the things that you need to do in every single one of them. Be sure that you stock to it throughout all days of the week and especially on Monday – just to set the tone, you know!

2. Do the smallest things first.

There is no better feeling than thinking that you have several small tasks left at the end of the day only to realize that you have already done them in the morning. That is the kind of feeling we all need on any given Monday. Treat yourself to the purest satisfaction possible and your day is going to become brighter, even a little bit here helps.

I think that it is a universal knowledge – there is no better evening in the week than Monday’s in order to unwind and do your favorite things with the whole week ahead of you. but if you do not have a plan you may just spend it on your couch scrolling through your Facebook feed. And that is no proper way to relax.

So, plan. Book yourself a ticket to the cinema, a table in the nearest bistreau or simply make plans to go for a walk with your friends. That way Monday evening will be something to look forward to. It will help you get through the day without losing your productivity and focus.

4. Do not drink a lot of coffee.

Here is a tip that goes straight out of placebo effect. Do not drink a lot of coffee in the morning as we simply associate coffee with being tired and sleepy. That is why the more coffee we drink, the more tired we may become in the end. So, what to do?

If you simply can’t start your day off without a cup of coffee, limit yourself to just one. It is better for your heart as well! Substitute coffee with green tea, which actually has more caffeine in it!

5. Set time limits.

Set time limits – for example you cannot check you Facebook/Instagram/email until 12 PM. That way you are going to ensure that you are not going to simply wander off right in the middle of the task and forget all about your thoughts and ideas.

6. Take breaks.

Right after 3-4 tasks are done it is time to take a break. Go outside, breath some fresh air, drink some water. Stretch your legs a little bit – dot not spend your entire day in front of the computer. That is only going to tire you and keep your productivity on the lowest level possible.
